Michael J. Diamondstein is a life-long resident of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. A graduate of Ithaca College, Mr. Diamondstein attended Widener University School of Law and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While a student at Widener, he was awarded the Wolcott Fellowship and served as a clerk for Justice Joseph T. Walsh of the Supreme Court of Delaware.

After leaving Law School, Mr. Diamondstein was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia. There he served with distinction prosecuting cases in the Municipal Court Unit, Motions Unit, Juvenile Unit, Felony Waiver Unit and finally, finishing his prosecuting tenure in the Major Trials Unit. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, he went into private practice.

As a member of the PA and NJ bars, Mr. Diamondstein has handled over ten thousand criminal cases in State and Federal Courts. He has defended both high profile and unreported criminal cases, having secured acquittals and dismissals for hundreds of clients. He is well respected in the legal community as he routinely represents clients that have been referred to him by judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officers and fellow attorneys. Each and every client is represented by Mr. Diamondstein personally. His vast experience allows him to provide the highest standard of representation for those people accused of crimes, under investigation or recently arrested.
