How is Charlène of Monaco probably dealing with this terrible news? Her closest advisor, Father William McCandless, faces up to 60 years in prison in the United States. He is charged with child pornography. Royal expert Michael Begasse assesses the situation in the video.
William McCandless was one of the Princess’ closest confidants for many years. As the “Bunte” writes, he witness the birth of her twins Jacques and Gabriella (7) and performed her brother Gareth Wittstock’s (42) marriage. The priest also had an office in the palace.
Did the Priest view Child Rape?
There are creepy details which are now coming to light. William Bill McCandless is said to have downloaded thousands of pornographic child photos from the internet in Monaco and brought them to the United States. Especially terrible: Some recordings show how children are raped and tortured. So far, Princess Charlène has not made an official statement about the allegations toward her advisor. It is difficult to imagine how she must feel, as a mother of two children.
McCandless’ Lawyer: “What Monaco did to this innocent man is shameful.”
When asked by RTL, Michael Diamondstein, Father McCandless’ lawyer, spoke up.
“While we cannot say with legal certainty that the allegations against Father McCandless are in retaliation for his work at the palace, we can state unequivocally that he did not do what he is accused of doing,” the lawyer said.
As of this writing, the US government is said to have presented no evidence to indicate “that it conducted more than a cursory review of the documentation provided by Monaco.” Diamondstein criticizes the behavior of the Monegasque government and law enforcement agencies, which is said to be characterized by “a complete lack of courtesy, professionalism, and justice.” The lawyer wanted to travel to Monaco with his team to “do research,” but the Monegasque government “actively prevented” him from doing so.
“We have asked for help from the Palace, the Attorney General, the ambassador, and even the Princess herself. All of our pleas for equal justice have fallen on deaf ears,”says Diamondstein in his statement, ready for a fight. “What Monaco did to this innocent man is shameful. We intend to vigorously defend Father McCandless and are confident that if an American jury sees how he was treated by Monaco and the US government, he will be exonerated,” Diamondstein stated.
